I'm not familiar with the other offices, but the one in Austin does. Here's a drescription by the statesman at a recent open house:

"The cafeteria is stocked with energy drinks, soft drinks, water and beer. A free lunch is catered daily by different restaurants. (Monday was tikka masala and beef vindaloo from Clay Pit; on Thursday, Buca di Beppo served chicken saltimbocca, manicotti and apple gorgonzola salad.)"

Thank you for the kind words Eric. Welcome aboard!

Jake, both the Statesman and the Austin Business Journal report Google's Austin office should add about 100 to 150 software engineers. Chances are they'll hire the most qualified candidates regardless of where they currently live.

But as the article mentions, other companies in addition to Google are set to relocate to Austin this year, so I do expect to see more and more people relocating and buying homes in Austin this year (and Jake, we represent investors too when you're ready).

Wow. I wish I had some investment properties in the Austin area. Do you know if most of the hiring will be from locals or will there be a big influx of folks looking for homes. Jake
