Condos Headed to Zilker

Austin Business Journal reports, City Council has approved a zoning change for a new mixed-use condo development along Barton Springs Blvd.

The project plans call for 128 condominums and aproximately 10,000 sqft of retail space across from Chuy’s, near Sturzig street. No renderings have been released.

You know, that would be a SWEET spot to live! You could walk to all the events in Zilker and walk to Chuy’s anytime you get a craving for their chips and salsa….danger! Any word yet on what these condos will sell for?

You’re right, it would be SWEET also for a summertime walk to Barton Springs and then to Sno Beach for one of those famous Sno-cones. As for suggested list price, no word yet. I’ll let you know.
